Most confusing alarm ever!

Its pretty, but the tutorial doesnt explain how to use the settings. I have it set to shake, yet no amount of shaking turns the alarm off? Swipe. What swipe? I set the alarm to repeat everyday, but I didnt go off today. Not worth downloading.
